The midfielder of 37 years will play the next five months in the French team. “I’m very excited,” he said after being presented.

Former England captain David Beckham signed a five-month for Paris Saint Germain, in a surprising new twist in his long career.

The 37-year midfielder was without a club after finishing his contract with Los Angeles Galaxy at the end of the season in Major League Soccer in December.

David Beckham will be the center of attention on and off the court, with the media chasing him as he adjusts to life in Paris.

“David rejected many clubs around the world, so we are very happy to have him,” said PSG president Nasser Al Jelaifi, in a press conference at the stadium Parc des Princes.

“I can see what the club is trying to do. Paris is exhilarating, always has been and always will be, but now there is a club that is challenging for me and I’m happy to be part of the future of PSG. I’m very excited, “said the midfielder in a press conference.

The player also reported that their wages will be donated to a charity in the French capital.

“I will not receive any salary during my time in Paris St. Germain. My salary will go to a charity for children in Paris, “he said.
