Business Man from the Future

Steven Paul Jobs, also known as “Steve Jobs” was born February 24, 1955 in San Francisco, California. Paul and Clara Jobs, a married couple, adopted Steve. While attending high school, Steve frequently would go to after school lectures at the Hp Company of computer, where he acquired the passion for computers. The result of Steve’s hard work, perseverance, and intuition finally paid off at the end and the rest in history. Therefore, Steve became one of the most prestigious CEO’s in the United States’ history; consequently, Steve founded Apple, Next Computer, and Pixar Animation Studios.

The journey for this long trip started in 1976 when Steve Jobs and with the help of his friends, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne founded Apple; all the members of this journey were very passionate about one thing and that was “changing the world”.

The company Apple started to grow rapidly in a very short time, so they went looking for more experienced people to help. During the following years, Apple started recruiting CEO’s from different big companies and one of them was Pepsi. In 1984, Apple introduced the Macintosh to the public; moreover, Apple launched a commercial in the Super Bowl. The Macintosh was the first computer to have a friendly interface and able to be controlled by a mouse. After a couple months, Steve was fire from his own company that he started it. The board of directors at Apple did not agree with Steve in the plans that he had for the company, so they had to fire him.

Later on, Steve decided that he was not going give up that easily because he loved what he did at Apple; a couple months later Steve founded NeXT also a computer company, and he started all over again. “The heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, less sure about everything. It freed me to enter one of the most creative periods of my life”- Steve Jobs. All the hard work paid off at the end, in 1996 Apple bought Next for $429 million. Steve was back at Apple the company he co-founded, soon he became the CEO. Apple increased significantly in sales, under the management of Steve; introducing the iMac and other new products. Now in these days, Apple has expanded outrageously worldwide by introducing the Ipod, Iphone, and Ipad, the company revolutionized the technology industry.

Since Steve Jobs was involved in the computer world, in 1986 he bought a graphic computer group from Lucasfilm’s; he renamed the company to “Pixar”. Disney contracted Pixar because they were interested in producing computer-animated films with them. The new era of computer-animated movies started for Steve Jobs with this partnership with Disney. Toy Story was the first film produced by Pixar; in 1995, the film was release to the public. In the continuous years, Pixar produced over eight computer-animated films and most them have been a hit in theaters. In 2006, Jobs agreed in selling Pixar to Walt Disney, he is now a board of directors at Walt Disney.

In conclusion, Steve Jobs was one of the most important CEO’s of the United States. Steve managed to outcome every obstacle he encountered as if nothing happened; he never gave up without giving a fight, or at least trying his best to find a new solution. Therefore, Steve Jobs was able to found Apple Computer Company, NeXT, and Pixar computer animation studios. Steve, you will always be remembered as the Business Man from the future.
