Check Out the New PlayStation 4 Controller

By on February 15, 2013

On February 20th , Sony promised to announce the future of PlayStation, so it seems that we are talking about the next console from the Japanese house, the PlayStation 4. The excitement does not stop as that date approaches marked on the calendar by  Kaz Hirai and his team, and while have kept the surprise for very long, today leaked a picture of the PlayStation controller 4, or at least what promises to be a prototype on his way to the final version.

Already at a previous occasion, we had already heard strong rumors that the Dualshock no longer be the main drive of the next Sony console, but what would happen to the background. Something like what he did on the Nintendo Wii U where the command screen called “GamePad” is the primary control, and the other players can use a WiiMote or Classic Controller, inherited from the Wii.

From the picture leaked of the PlayStation 4, we can see that maintains a design very similar to the Dualshock, but this time incorporating a small panel in the control center. We do not know if it’s a touch screen or simply a screen display options and a special menu in the games.  However, considering the current trend of all companies, including Sony PS Vita, we can be sure that this little screen is touch.

Also, the new command that appears on the web today has a small perforated section so it could be for a speaker, or what seems more logical, a microphone, perhaps to supplant the microphone so far located in the cam.

In just six days we will know the news from Sony for the PlayStation world, but it should not be doubts is planning to not only provide a very powerful console, as already discussed in previous rumors, but also to renew the experience game drastically, or at least we hope.
