The New Megaupload Continues to Receive Millions of Visits

By on February 25, 2013

The website that Kim Dotcom founded, and was closed down by the FBI, is still among the most visited on the web.

Have you visited the new Megaupload in recent months? Maybe you went to download link on a page or you are still hopeful to recover any of your uploaded files. Whatever the reason, the fact is that the file-sharing site that over a year ago was deactivated by the FBI is still one of the most visited in the web.

Unbelievable, but true. According to Alexa, a website that is responsible for making (among other things) visits rankings, Megaupload is ranked 2 007 possition worldwide, which means that receives millions of visitors per month, according to Torrent Freak.

Until recently the site showed an FBI warning, and now simply does not exist, but that has not prevented the place that started another project of its creator, Mega, remains in the collective imagination of the web.
