Chad Hurley created YouTube in February 2005 and was a participant in the sale of the video website to Google a year later. In 2010, he left the company and now is working on a new video portal.

Chad Hurley, who left the video website in 2010, says that will allow people to “work together and create content”

This was announced at South by Southwest, an event that brings movies congresses and conferences, interactive media and music, where he said his new project is “based on video” and “gives flexibility for people to work together and create content”.

Hurley has clearly stated that it will not “kill YouTube”, and he added that if the event had taken place a month after he would have presented a finished product.
