New Website Shows How Much Facebook Knows You

By on April 23, 2014

Have you ever wonder how much does Facebook knows about you. Undoubtedly, Facebook holds a major part of your “digital” life on the World Wide Web. It certainly knows more about who your friends are and what interests you.

It also knows who stalks you, where you spend most of your time, and even how much money you make.

Fortunately, this data is not publicly visible for Facebook users. However, there is a new website called Digital Shadow promoting the upcoming spy video game Watch Dogs by Ubisoft. If you give the website authorization to look into your Facebook profile data, it will list your stalkers, closest friends that can be used against you, the people you Facebook creep on the most, people you don’t interact with.

Of course, all this “creepy” insight is based on information you willingly gave to Facebook at some time. Letting Watch Dogs search your profile can act as a reminder that the information you put on the Internet (Facebook) can potentially be used against you.
